The school produces church pastors, theologians, leaders of the Adventist churches. In addition, we educate missionaries who spread the Biblical-Christian faith in all corners of the world through 1,000 Missionary Movement, Pioneer Mission Movement (PMM), and others.
The following are other career path options for students of theology: church institutional chaplains and workers, elementary and secondary school Bible teacher, missionary, Christian culture worker, chaplains and workers at various social/national institutions, NGOs, etc.
Research Centers and Laboratories
Institute of Theological Research, Sahmyook University
This institute aims to establish a creative and future-oriented Christian worldview and spread it to the whole society. It explores a convergent truth world with an open attitude based on the Christian worldview, and spreads a new, future-oriented Christian culture the society.

Mission and Society Research Institute (MSRI) of Sahmyook University
Based on the Scriptures, this institute establishes the methodology and theological foundation for the church mission, and further promotes the spread of the Gospel to the world through research activities that provide solutions to the problems the church faces in this society.
The institute works in following areas:
- Academic research on different problems and solutions in the field of mission and evangelism
- Studies on ways to realize the gospel of eternal Peace in society
- Publication of academic journals on mission and social issues
- Translation and publication of academic documents
- Holding various academic meetings
