[SU-StartUp Project Assignment-Type Startup Club Open Recruitment]

 

Sahmyook University Startup Support Center seeks to discover students with interest in entrepreneurship, the will to start a business, and business potential, and to support club activities and ideas so that they can lead to actual startups for the purpose of winning project assignments. By securing a startup budget and establishing a foundation for hands-on entrepreneurship, we would like to promote youth entrepreneurship by recruiting startup clubs as follows.

 

  1. Recruitment Schedule

a. Document submission: Submit the application form by email by 18:00 on 2020.04.10.(Mon) (interview candidates will be contacted individually)

b. Interview schedule: 2020.04.14.(Tue) (interview time will be notified individually)

b. Announcement of results: 2020.04.16.(Thu) Posted on the website bulletin board and individual contact

c. How to apply: startup@syu.ac.kr (Complete the attached file and submit by email)

 

2. Eligibility

a. Enrolled/leave-of-absence students who want to experience the startup process directly or indirectly through a given item (project assignment)

b. Prospective entrepreneurs (individuals) who wish to win and operate a national treasury-funded support project

c. Enrolled/leave-of-absence students who are interested in and willing to start a business (startup club members may also apply as individuals)

 

3. Support Details

a. Startup coaching: Match a dedicated mentor for the startup club and provide intensive mentoring

b. Startup education: Provide startup education such as specialized knowledge in the startup field and management capabilities

c. Space support: Entrepreneurship Education Center (Startup Cafe), makerspace, startup club support space

d. Operational support: Club activity expenses and prototype production support (separate evaluation)

e. Other support: Priority selection for on- and off-campus startup-related programs, mileage (400 points) awarded, etc.

 

4. Club Obligations

a. Mandatory participation in orientation (04.17.(Fri) 13:00)

b. Participation in startup support programs and Startup Support Center events

c. Mandatory participation in startup mentoring and education
