2020 Academic Year 1st Semester National Work-Study Summer Vacation Intensive Work Application Guide

※ Applications are available only to those who applied for the 2020 academic year, 1st semester National Work-Study Scholarship student (1st–2nd rounds).

  1. Application Guide​

a. Eligible applicants: Those who applied for the 2020 academic year 1st semester National Work-Study in the 1st and 2nd rounds

b. Number of students selected: Selected within the scope of the scholarship budget

c. Scholarship amount: 11,150 KRW per hour

d. Working hours: Up to 8 hours per day, up to 40 hours per week, within the Foundation’s intensive work operation period.

e. Work institutions: Government offices, companies, libraries, and elementary/middle/high schools, etc.

f. Operation period: July 1, 2020 (Wed) ~ August 31, 2020 (Mon) [tentative]

– May be subject to change depending on the circumstances of the work institution and the student​

3. How to apply: Refer to the attached document “Summer Vacation Intensive Work Program Preferred Work Institution Application Manual” The 2019 file has been attached. Please refer to it.

5. Selection Criteria

a. The Korea Student Aid Foundation directly matches work institutions and students, and among those matched, first priority (income bracket 0–4) will be selected first.

b. Final selection after reviewing undergraduate grades and confirming whether (tentatively) selected students have work activity.

c. Additional selection may be possible within the budget as needed (tentative)​

d. Excluded from selection if reasons arise such as field training, early employment, overseas travel, classes, seasonal semester, etc.

6. Notes

a. After selection, if issues arise such as work attitude or attendance, employment will be terminated.

b. In the event of other reasons such as leave of absence, withdrawal, early employment, field training, hospitalization, overseas travel, etc., you must immediately report to the Office of Student Affairs and simultaneously stop working.

c. If false work or fraudulent work is detected, you must return the full amount of the scholarship provided and will be suspended from work for 2 years.
