Ⅰ. Field of Invitation and Number of Positions

   1. Department: College of Theology

   2. Major and number of positions: Theology, 1 position (foreigner)

Ⅱ. Qualifications

   1. Applicants must have had majored in the relevant field and have no grounds for disqualification to be hired as a private

        school faculty.

   2. Ph.D degree holder in the relevant field

   3. Applicants must be a Seventh-day Adventist who had been baptized at least 1 year ago and have been recommended by

        the pastor at which the church they attend.

Ⅲ. Terms of Appointment

   1. Full time faculty appointment from March 1, 2021, in accordance with the university’s regulations

   2. 2-year new appointment period: re-appointment by evaluation every 2 years; contract signing may be on a yearly basis

   3. Job description: lecture, research and other university-required work

   4. Salary (housing support fee included): KRW 37,800,000/year

      ※In case of using on-campus housing, housing management fee (KRW 300,000/month) is deducted from the salary.

   5. Research fund is supported in accordance with the 「Research Fund Management Regulation」

   6. Shared faculty office space is provided.

   7. Other matters are subject to the Foreign Faculty Personnel Regulations and related regulations.

Ⅳ. Others

   1. In the event that the number of applicants for each field of invitation is less than double, the job announcement may be

        invalidated or converted to special appointment.

   2. After document screening, applicants who are subject to major evaluation and interview will receive an individual notice.

   3. Should there be no suitable person, selection may not be made.

   4. Applicants are responsible for any possible disadvantages in the evaluation due to omission or incomplete documents.

        Appointment will be canceled even after signing the contract, in the event that false documents are submitted or

        unjust facts including in research ethics are found.
