The result of Sahmyook University’s application deadline for regular admissions for the 2023 academic year, 3491 applicants applied for 403 admissions, recording an overall competition rate of 8.66 to 1. It is the 5th highest competition rate among four-year universities in Seoul and the 6th highest nationwide.

The admission unit with the highest competition rate was the general admissions in the Department of Pharmacy, with 550 applicants applying for the recruitment of 14 admissions, recording a competition rate of 39.29 to 1. This is the highest competition rate among all pharmacy schools in the Seoul area. Except for Sahmyook University, all pharmacy schools in the Seoul area showed a competition rate of less than 10 to 1.

In addition, it recorded 19:1 in the Department of Pharmacy (equal opportunity screening), 13.65:1 in the Department of Art & Design, 13.57:1 in the Department of Social Welfare, and 10.53:1 in the Department of Business Administration.
