Sahmyook University conducted its admission essay test for the 2025 academic year on November 18, with over 5,000 candidates and their families flocking to the campus from early morning.

The essay test for natural sciences took place from 10:00 to 11:20 a.m., followed by the humanities test from 3:00 to 4:20 p.m.

This year’s Essay Excellence Track attracted 5,380 applicants for only 127 spots, resulting in an acceptance rate of just 2.36%. The Nursing Department had the lowest acceptance rate at 0.88%, with 909 applicants competing for 8 seats. Other highly competitive programs included Physical Therapy at 1.23%, Business Administration at 1.83%, and the 5-year Architecture Program at 2.38%.

The results will be announced on December 10.
