Sahmyook University has demonstrated its commitment to the value of life-sharing by donating 1,004 blood donation certificates to the Korea Childhood Leukemia Foundation.

The certificates were collected through the university’s annual “Love Sharing Festival,” held each spring and fall. During the festival, students, professors, and staff voluntarily participate in blood donation campaigns, fostering a culture of life-sharing. The certificates represent the collective goodwill of the university community and are dedicated to supporting the treatment and recovery of children with cancer.

“We hope these blood donation certificates, filled with the heartfelt intentions of our university members, will aid in the treatment and recovery of children battling cancer,” said Jung Sung-jin, dean of student affairs at Sahmyook University.

Seo Sun-won, secretary general of the Korea Childhood Leukemia Foundation, expressed gratitude, stating, “Blood donation certificates are a precious gift that brings hope to children with cancer and their families. We will use these certificates with care to support their treatment.”

Sahmyook University plans to continue its life-sharing activities through ongoing blood donation events, encouraging the active participation of its community in supporting those in need.
