On the 22nd, Sahmyook University held a special lecture at Myeong-ki Hall located in John Building, inviting Jang-geun Lee, the Korean Ambassador to Bangladesh.
Ambassador Jang-geun Lee joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1991 through the 25th Foreign Service Examination. He served as a counselor to Austria, a member of the expert panel of the UN Security Council North Korea Sanctions Committee, a coordinator of international organizations, a director of international organizations, a deputy ambassador to Geneva, and has been the Ambassador of Bangladesh since June 2020.

Ambassador Lee attended the launching ceremony of the large-scale overseas volunteer project called ‘Change the World,’ which Sahmyook University held at BASC (Bangladesh Adventist Seminary and College) in Kaliakor, Bangladesh, in January last year, and has been building a relationship and continuing a cooperative relationship.
On this day, Ambassador Lee gave a special lecture on the ‘Words that Influenced My Life’ theme and communicated with the students without hesitation. He said he wanted to convey the same message to young people by sharing verses from the Bible, books, and letters he received from acquaintances that impacted essential aspects of his life, including his life, career, and religious journey.

Ambassador Lee said, “University is a process, not the end. It is not a place to stay forever but to prepare for a further life before entering society. I encourage you to prepare well for the future at Sahmyook University, which was established with the principles and foundations of faith, and to unfold your dreams successfully and hopes after graduation.”
