In a significant development, Professor Je Hae-jong, hailing from the esteemed Department of Theology, has been appointed as the 16th president of Sahmyook University. His inauguration marks the beginning of a promising four-year term, commencing from March 1st.

Born in 1967, President Je is a proud alumnus of Sahmyook University, having earned his degree in Theology. He furthered his academic journey by attaining a Master of Divinity (M.Div) and a Ph.D. in Theology from Andrews University in the United States, specializing in the intricate field of Systematic Theology.

Since his induction as a professor in the Department of Theology at Sahmyook University in 2012, President Je has left an indelible mark on the institution’s landscape. His unwavering dedication to the university’s advancement is evidenced by his multifaceted roles, ranging from Director of the Chapel to Dean of the Graduate School of Theology. With each responsibility he undertook, including pivotal roles like Director of Student Affairs and Head of the Department of Theology, President Je demonstrated a steadfast commitment to Sahmyook University’s growth and prosperity.
