Sahmyook University promoted the establishment of an international society to continue and develop an active global network. The academic organization and articles of the association were prepared, centering around the academic committee of the graduate school, and the website was established. In addition, sister universities worldwide, including the United States, Australia, Asia, and Africa, sent their support and intention to participate, leading to the official establishment of the society.

President Kim Il-mok was elected as the first ISAA president, and Ko Won-bae, Dean of the College of Science and Technology, and Kim Seong-woon, Dean of the College of Culture and Arts, were elected as auditors. ISAA will be officially registered as an international conference with the National Research Foundation of Korea and will be launched as an international conference both in name and reality.

ISAA will hold academic sessions in six areas: △Religion and Theology △Humanities and Social Sciences △Health and Medical Care △Science and Technology △Culture and Arts △Faith and Studies.
