Introduction

By providing science-based curriculum and innovative programs, the department cultivates leading experts in the field of sports instruction.
Through education centered on future adaptability and job competitiveness, the department aims to produce sports-IT professionals capable of delivering high quality health activity instruction and solving problems arising from an aging society. Based on the philosophy of Sahmyook (body, virtue, and knowledge), we produce professional managers in the sports industry capable of adapting to the rapidly changing global village.

Multi-potential students with comprehensive, foundational knowledge of sports science and medicine Positive and enthusiastic students with the potential to become health care and exercise prescription specialists Creative students with the potential to become professional managers in public and private sports sectors Interdisciplinary sports instructors who are capable of integrating IT and sports Professionals who can address the issue of an aging society and care for the elderly

Sports center and fitness club trainer, professional sports team and corporate sports program operator, sports guidance and counselor for obesity clinics and welfare centers, sports recorder, exercise prescriber, exercise instructor for the elderly, rehabilitation specialist guidance for the disabled, first aid instructor, health exercise and exercise manager for the elderly, physical fitness tester and evaluator, health center, clinic and sports center clinical exercise prescriber, sports-related researcher at universities and research institutes, sports-related associations and federation administrative staff, sports media and public relations marketers, sports agents, sports centers and fitness club operators, sports events and recreational operator
