The personal statement should give concrete evidence of your commitment as a member of the academic community, giving the committee an idea of who you are as a person. This is also where you can tell us what you can offer to the Sahmyook community as someone coming from an education background outside of Korea, or how you can do to help the higher education system in Korea to become more diverse by making under-represented groups in higher education in Korea more visible.
In your study plan, detail how your academic and professional background, interests, and preparation in the academic area you are applying and/or other studies support your research topic and the method(s) you expect to use (or would like to learn) to explore the topic.
