Sahmyook University held its ‘2023 Second Semester Graduation Ceremony’ on August 9 in Johann Hall, Hong Myung-ki Hall on campus.
The ceremony honored 272 bachelor’s degree recipients, along with 46 doctoral and 45 master’s students from the Graduate School, 2 master’s students from the Theological Seminary, 10 master’s students from the Business School, and 5 master’s students from the Clinical Nursing Graduate School, totaling 380 graduates.
Among the graduates were 104 international students from China, Vietnam, the Philippines, Nigeria, and one student with disabilities.
President Je Hae-jong, in his address, emphasized that Sahmyook University’s goal is to equip students to be “servants who change people and the world” in an ever-changing world. He encouraged graduates to be “those who take risks and make a difference.”
He concluded by assuring the graduates that faculty and staff would continue to support and pray for their future success and happiness.
