3. Eligibility

  • A. An applicant holding foreign citizenship whose parents are foreign citizens (not Korean citizens)
  • B. An applicant who completed the entire 16-year education from elementary school to university in foreign countries(not Korea)
  • * Applicants must meet one of the two conditions above.

4. Selection Process

Documents (100%) + Interview (100%) = Total 200%

Interdisciplinary Arts Department: Documents (100%) + Interview (100%) + performance(200%) = Total 400%

* Overseas applicants can interview by phone. Departments may or may not conduct interview. Each department will announce its schedule and method for such interview

 B. Interdisciplinary Arts Department Performance Exam

  • Portfolio submission (performance and educational, research, etc.): 3 Portfolios submissions for interview day
  • 1. Music: concerts (solo recital, concerto, ensemble, etc. , scores or recordings for composition major)
  • 2. Arts: Exhibition (personal and collaborative, exhibition planning, etc.)
  • 3. Dancing: Performance (a choreography, or performance, etc.)
  • 4. Play: libretto, direction, performance (production, or step, etc.)
  • ※ Those students majoring in arts other than the relevant field should submit research results of their final degree

  • A. Any and all documents and materials submitted with application become the property of Sahmyook University and will not be returned to the applicant.
  • B. A detailed account of any individual admissions decision will not be disclosed.
  • C. Any of the submitted materials contains false information, admission will be rescinded.
  • D. If an applicant fails to graduates as schedules, the admission for the applicant will be automatically cancelled.
