The Department of Music at Sahmyook University offers a diverse range of crossover classes in line with rapidly changing modern trends. We aim to cultivate golobally talented individuals with refined sensibilities and creativity that resonate with the currents of both traditional classical and contemporary music.

There are specialized majors in piano, orchestral music, and vocal performance, among others. Offering bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs in all majors, we provide high-level one-stop educaiton with distinguished faculty. Beyond the majors, students can choose minors, allowing them to develop diverse skills and graduate as versatile music professionals. As an extension of classes, we organize major-specific recitals, regular spring and fall concerts, orchestral performances, opera productions, and various other performance opportunities, along with major-related internships, aiming to produce creative experts who will lead the future music industry.

Furthermore, each semester, we actively engage in international exchange activities, such as collaborative performances with art universities from Europe and various countries, hosting master classes, seminars, and other events. This allows us to keep pace with the era of globalization.
