Hello, this is the Institute for Educational Innovation.
We are pleased to announce the operation of the Samyook Mate Mentoring Program for enrolled students in the 2025-1 semester.
Samyook Mate consists of Freshman Mentoring and Adaptation Mentoring. Please refer to the details below for each program.
📌 Application Period
📅 March 17 (Mon) – March 30 (Sun), 2025
📌 Activity Period
📅 April 1 (Tue) – June 20 (Fri), 2025
📌 Eligibility
📌 Excluding students on leave of absence, those delaying graduation, and students with academic registration status.
📌 Leader: Enrolled students who have completed at least 2 semesters by the 2025-1 semester.
📌 Mate:
- Freshman Mentoring: First-year students in 2025.
- Adaptation Mentoring: Students in need of adaptation support, excluding first-year students (e.g., transfer students, international students, North Korean defectors, returning students).
📌 How to Apply & Program Operation
1. Apply via the Non-Curricular Integrated System (SU-Plus) & Upload Application Form

2. Team Formation
- Teams are assigned based on applications (with some flexibility to choose preferred partners).
- Cross-department participation is allowed.
- Freshman Mentoring: Operated as 1:1 or 1:2 mentoring.
- Adaptation Mentoring: Operated as 1:1 mentoring.
3. Mentoring Activities
- 6 sessions in total:
- Sessions 1–2: April
- Sessions 3–4: May
- Sessions 5–6: June
- Upon completing the sessions, participants will be eligible for benefits.
4. Submission of Activity Logs
📌 Refer to the attached “2025-1 Samyook Mate Orientation (OT)” file.
📌 Submission deadlines:
- Sessions 1–2: April 1 – April 30
- Sessions 3–4: May 1 – May 31
- Sessions 5–6: June 1 – June 22
📌 Benefits
🏅 Leader:
- Scholarship of up to 200,000 KRW (100,000 KRW for 1:1 mentoring, 200,000 KRW for 1:2 mentoring).
- 100 MVP Certification Points (Mission category).
🏅 Mate:
- 9,000 SU-Points.
💰 Activity Allowance:
- 7,000 KRW per session per person for “Linstable” activities. (Refer to the attached “2025-1 Samyook Mate Linstable Support” file).
🎓 Additional Perks:
- Certificate of Completion for participants who successfully finish the program.
- Networking session for outstanding teams.
📌 Important Notes
1️⃣ Please refer to the attached files for detailed activity guidelines.
2️⃣ Only official Sahmyook Mate participants will be added to an open chatroom and notified via SU-Talk. Participation is required.
3️⃣ All benefits will be provided after the satisfaction survey. Notifications will be sent via KakaoTalk and SU-Talk.
