○ (변경) 2024.1월분부터 월보험료 75,490원

… 전년도 11월 가입자 평균보험료(150,990원)의 50% 경감

※ 연간 소득 360만원 초과 또는 재산 13,500만원 초과 시 보험료 경감 제외

Guide to the Health Insurance System for International Students

○ (Eligibility)
International students and overseas Korean students:

• Student visa holders (D-2), General training visa holders (D-4)

○ (Enrollment Date)

1. D-2 visa holders: From the date of entry (or foreign registration date for first-time arrivals).
2. Overseas Koreans, F-4 visa holders: From the school enrollment date after entry (proof of enrollment, such as a certificate of enrollment, is required).

○ (Changes)

• From January 2024, the monthly insurance premium will be KRW 75,490.
• This is a 50% discount from the average insurance premium for enrollees in November of the previous year (KRW 150,990).
• Note: The discount does not apply if your annual income exceeds KRW 3.6 million or your assets exceed KRW 135 million.

○ (Notification)

• Notifications will be sent via postal mail to the address registered with your foreigner registration or domestic residence report.
