Grade Evaluation

A school record is kept and handled as follows.

  • When school decides students' ranking according to their GPA, the tied score students' ranking will be decided by the following factors: first, students who earned more credits. Second, students who received higher grade on required courses, required liberal arts courses, basic courses for major, basic courses for study, elective courses for major, and regular elective courses. Third, their percentage will determine their ranking.

However, students in senior required courses (fifth year student in architecture department), (group) lab practice courses, and courses that had less than 9 students will be evaluated as follows:

However, following courses will not be evaluated as above: group education courses such as play, choir, and agricultural farming course, senior thesis, individual private tutor courses such as major practice, practice courses taught by researchers, general religious education courses, courses taught in foreign languages (exemption of courses for liberal arts international section courses, English division courses, and eastern language division courses), and required courses in architecture department. If students have passed Practical English 2 times, these two courses will be recognized as Practical English I and II. Also, students are not going to be evaluated based on relative evaluation instead they will receive A, B, or C.
