Introduction of Department

In order to meet the demands of the times for eco studies, the traditional horticulture department and the Department of Environmental Green Design has joined together.  Putting these two fields as the main focus, we will educate the students to become the best experts in related fields, through theory, practice, and on site studies
The department’s main majors are the design and pigment majors that will create an environment using plants as materials, landscape architecture, landscape design, lawn, and floral horticulture. We also have sub-majors, such as; plant physiology, crop protection, phytology functionality, horticulture therapy (treatment), pant factory, to support the main majors in the department.   Through specialized ICT and computer design classes, we will be training the students to be future specialists to improve the quality and environment for the current population.

Educational Objectives and Purpose

The importance of environmental design and horticulture has risen because the economic development, the improvement of standard living, and the quality and emotion of the nation’s life are being greatly influenced by them.
