Introduction of Department

Well-being fever! We are the Guard of Healthy Diet!
As our future is brighter with well-being fever, we study theory and technology with two aspects of food and nutrition which is the basis of promoting human health.
We study general chemistry, organic chemistry, biochemistry, and physiology which are the basis of our major. After completion of those courses, we further our study basic and advanced nutritional science and clinical nutrition, Sitology, prevention and treatment of diseases, nutrition education including NEWSTART, practicing healthy diet, manufacturing and processing healthy food by studying recipes, and researching helpful dietary life for health and prevention of diseases

Educational Objectives and Purpose

Teach required subjects to apply advanced scientific technology and cultivate talented people who can make full use of knowledge to contribute to human health and happiness. Apply knowledge of our health education to practical use and be able to serve our society.

Vision and Career

Develop abilities to adapt to reality by utilizing knowledge of pure science and preventive medicine. Students can research in the institute of food research, organizations related to food and nutrition, and food industry companies and consultants in the social education facilities, broadcasting stations, and companies.
