1990.09.01Doctor Kim, Hong Ryang inaugurated as the 7th dean.
1991.09TOEFL Test Center, designated by the U. S. Education Cultural Center, was established.

College of Horticulture Environment was nullified, Horticulture Major was included in College of Life Resource Science, and Environmental Horticulture Design Department was modified as an individual department.

  • Colleges were modified as the 1st college (Theology Department, English Department, Business Administration Department, Business Administration Information Department, Counseling Department, and Music Department), the 2nd college (Chemistry Department, Life Science Department, Horticulture Department, Applied Animal Department, Computer Science Department, and Environmental Horticulture Design Department), and the 3rd college (Nursing Department, Pharmacy Department, Food and Nutrition Department, Physical Therapy Department, Social Welfare Department, and Leisure and Sports Department) and administration support center was set in each college.

  • Doctor Seo, Gwang Soo  inaugurated as the 11th president of the school.
  • Administrative building was remodeled and named as Daniel Hall.
  • Environmental Horticulture Design Department was changed from the system of art of physical and public entertainment to system of Natural science.
  • The yearly quota of admission of students to respective departments capped. (Total 10: 2 in Business Administration Department, 1 in Business Administration Information Department, 1 in Horticulture Department, 2 in Environmental Horticulture Design Department, 1 in Food and Nutrition Department, 1 in Social Welfare Department, and 1 in Leisure and Sports Department)

  • The cap of student quota increased in 2008 for Nursing Department: 5 students admitted for admission. However, Music Department, Social and Welfare Department, English Department, Counseling Department, and Digital Business Department lost one seat due to student quota cap.
2008.04.01Korea Foundation for the Promotion of Private School and School Business Consulting entered into a contract with MOU.

1960.07.02Pastor Ji, Go Seok was elected as director.
1961.06Approved to be a formal 4-year college by the Ministry of Education, the school was renamed as Sahmyook Theological College and Pastor Ji, Go Seok was inaugurated as the dean.
1962.03.01School was approved to be established as an annex with Sahmyook Business Junior College. School recruited students in the Agriculture Department and Domestic Department in March.
1965.01.18Doctor Koo, In Suh inaugurated as the 2nd dean of the school.
1967.03.01School was renamed as Sahmyook College, and the Agriulture Department and Domestic Department was raised in status as Agricultural Education Department and Domestic Education Department in Junior College.
1968.03.01English Department was established.
1969.09.15Professor Ki, Jong Hwa  inaugurated as the 3rd dean of the school.
1971.09.01Elijah Hall was completed.
1972.12.08Professor Song, Kwon was inaugurated as the 4th dean.
1973.12.19School was approved to be established as an annex with Sahmyook Technical School. School recruited students from Dairy Industry Department and Food and Nutrition Department in 1974.
1974.03.01Nursing Department was established.
1975.02.17For our educational unification, board of directors of Nursing College and the school's board of directors were combined and unified.
1975.02.19Doctor Lee, Ki Don  inaugurated as the 5th dean of the school.
1977.01.05Doctor Kim, Jong Hwa  inaugurated as the 6th dean of the school.
1978.03.01Domestic Education Department was renamed and changed as Business Administration Department.
1978.12.14Samuel Hall was completed.
1979.03.01Agriculture Education Department was renamed and changed as Pharmacy Department.
1980.09.2670th Year Memorial Hall (auditorium) was completed.
1981.03.01Nutrition Department, Chemistry Department, and Music Education Department were established.

1985.08.19Science Hall, Ezra Hall, Students' Hall, and the front gate were completed.
1987.11.28Executive Office, Men's Dormitory, and Women's Dormitory were completed.

1906.10.10Soonan, Pyeongam, Euimyung School was established with the SDA educational philosophy; to cultivate religious workers of Church, Pastor Smith was inaugurated as the president.
1917.To enhance the academic background of the church religious workers, the Theology Department in a two-year high school was established. Pastor Jun, Si Yul (Choseon President) took office as the dean.
1931.04.06Theology Department of Euimyung School was relocated to Hoegi-dong, Dongdaemun-gu, Seou, in the Seventh Day Adventist Church headquarters. It was named as Choseon Federation School of Theology
1937.Euimyung School voluntarily withdrew from the administration of the school to maintain firming the force from Japanese shrine of worship.
1937.05.02The school reopened as Ministry Training School. Clinton W. Lee was elected as director.
1940.11Korean pastor Lee, Sung Eui was elected as chief when the missionary withdrew.
1941.Pastor Choi, Tae Hyun, president of the Korean Seventh Day Adventist Association, was elected as chief.
1942.05School was closed due to Japanese oppression.
1947.09.01School was reopened as Choseon Federation School of Theology in Hoegi-dong, Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul and missionary pastor Won, Ryun Sang was inaugurated as the president.
1949.11.13Approximately 70 Jungbo (about 694,218m2) of forest land that used to be property of the imperial family was bought in Gongduk-li, Yangjoo-gun, Kyunggi-do (currently 26-21 Gongneung-2dong, Nowon-gu) and the School of Theology was moved to that location. An educational system of regular course, special course, and hearing course was added to the curriculum.
1950.06.25School closed temporarily due to an accident.
1951.11School was rebuilt and renamed Sahmyook School of Theology. Pastor Lee, Je Myung was elected as director.
1954.Pastor Jung, Dong Shim was elected as director. The beginning of the school term was April, and on July 20, the same year, the school was approved as a 4-year university.
1954.08.25Pastor Lee, Dan Yul was elected as director.
1955.The small auditorium was completed. (Removed in 1993)
