The program covers the following areas: genetic improvement of animals that are the basis of the production of animal food and food resources, nutrition and feed for increasing animal productivity, pathology, processing, genetics, biology, physiology, biochemistry, and animal behavior and ecology. In addition, the department aims to cultivate reputable scientists who play a pivotal role in all areas of the animal industry by basing the analytic process on Sahmyook University&#8217;s holistic education.<\/p>\r\n\t\r\n\t<p class=\"desc-title\">Purpose<\/p>\r\n\t<p class=\"desc-content\">The Department of Animal Life Resources develops and provides top-quality curriculum centered on cutting-edge science and technology suitable for the rapidly changing times and social trends, thereby enhancing the sense of achievement and satisfaction of students in their major. The purpose is to cultivate sincere and competent students who can cope with the rapidly changing times and are worthy of the founding ideology of the university. Also, the department aims to cultivate animal life resources professionals who can contribute to the local community and enhance international competitiveness of the university. The department offers learning founded on Biblical human education according to the educational philosphy of Sahmyook University. <\/p>\r\n\t<ul class=\"bullet_type01\">\r\n\t\t<li>In order to provide holistic Christian education, we focus on building character through various humanities courses including courses on Bible and chapel.<\/li>\r\n\t\t<li>Nurturing leading professionals in the livestock industry through lectures, experiments, and hands-on tasks. The course covers animal nutrition, breeding, disease, inheritance, and animal food processing, etc. <\/li>\r\n\t\t<li>Students learn about pets, ornamental animals, special and wild animals to improve quality of human life.
