Sahmyook University\u2019s College of Nursing proved the excellence of its curriculum by acquiring the \u20185-year accreditation\u2019 of the bachelor\u2019s degree program in nursing in the \u2018First Half of 2023 Nursing Education Accreditation Evaluation\u2019 hosted by the Korea Institute of Nursing Education and Evaluation. The certification period is from June 13th, 2024, to June 12th, 2029.<\/p>\n

The nursing education certification evaluation is a system to promote the qualitative development of nursing education and systematically support and manage enrolled students\u2019 performance. It is used as an official criterion to determine whether educational performance, curriculum operation, and educational conditions meet the nation\u2019s needs, society, and the nursing profession.<\/p>\n

The College of Nursing at Sahmyook University passed the document and on-site evaluations with excellent scores in six areas, \u25b3Vision and Operation System \u25b3Curriculum \u25b3Student \u25b3Professor \u25b3Facilities and Equipment, and \u25b3Educational Performance.<\/p>\n

Depending on the evaluation results, it is classified into certification (a year, three years, five years), temporary certificate, and inability to be certified. The 5-year accreditation received by Sahmyook University College of Nursing corresponds to \u2018the case where the quality of nursing education is maintained by meeting accreditation standards in all items and areas.\u2019<\/p>\n

Dean Bok-ja Oh, said, \u201cSahmyook University\u2019s College of Nursing has an excellent curriculum, competent teachers, a simulation practice center, and various practice centers, including 20 advanced comprehensive medical institutions.
