Sahmyook University Art & Design Department held the \u20182023 Sahmyook University National High School Art & Design Practical Competition\u2019 for two days, from June 21st to 22nd, at the campus gymnasium\u2019s main stadium.<\/p>\n
The competition, held for the 17th time this year, is designed to discover and nurture new talents with creative ideas \u00b7thinking skills and to enhance the national status through the promotion of design & art culture.<\/p>\n
This year, a total of 1,000 students applied. The first-come-first-served basis attracted great interest as it closed two days after it started accepting applications. The three categories to participate in were \u25b3basic design \u25b3idea and expression \u25b3basic knowledge, focusing on practical skills of the entrance exam.<\/p>\n
The grand prize (The President\u2019s Award) winner will receive a certificate, a plaque, and a scholarship according to the regulations upon admission to Sahmyook University. Gold, silver, and bronze prizes in each category will be awarded certificates and rewards, and special selections and prizes will also be awarded certificates. The Excellent Leader Award will also be given to academies and teachers who nurture excellent students.<\/p>\n
In addition, the winners of the grand prize, gold prize, and silver prize will be eligible for Sahmyook University\u2019s special early admissions (based on the 2024 admission guidelines).<\/p>\n
For those above the special selection, a certificate of performance award will be issued when applying to other universities.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
