\nSahmyook University will dispatch a large-scale volunteer group with 307 volunteers in 23 teams to 5 overseas countries and eight domestic regions, including Bangladesh, Mongolia, Nepal, Uzbekistan, and Taiwan, during the summer vacation (June-August).<\/p>\n

On June 1st, Sahmyook University held the \u20182023 Summer Volunteer Corps Launching Ceremony\u2019 at Hong Myeong-ki Hall in John Building.<\/p>\n

At the ceremony, all the volunteers, including Hyo-hyeon Kim (4th year, Department of Social Welfare) and Soo-rin Lim (3rd year, Department of Theology), read an oath stating that they would
\n\u201cfaithfully engage in volunteer activities, properly practice Sahmyook education, and enhance the honor of the school and the country,\u201d and pledged their dedicated service.<\/p>\n

President Il-mok Kim and Glocal Institute for Social Innovation Director Kyung-chun Choi then presented the launching ceremony flag and a certificate of dispatch to each team\u2019s advisors and student representatives.<\/p>\n
