From February 9 to 12, SU Theology Department held the Total Immersion Spiritual Program (TISP), which aimed to provide spiritual education and training to prospective theology majors. The event, consisting of more than 80 participants including prospective incoming freshmen, current theology majors, and operating staff, proceeded in a non-face-to-face manner via YouTube and the online conference system ZOOM.<\/p>\n
Under the theme “Find Your Calling,” the program this year invited Pastor Yun Ho-yeong as the lecturer, who through his lectures suggested to the participants different ways of finding meaning and direction in their callings as they are about to walk the path of a theology student.<\/p>\n
Attendants also participated in-depth discussions on the theme of the program and the lectures they heard through small group activities. In particular, they were provided with four sub-themes\u2014’Finding God,’ ‘Finding Myself,’ ‘Overcoming Obstacles,’ and ‘Finding My Calling’\u2014which aimed to help them build the right relationship with God and confirm their identity through His perspective. Moreover, they also had personal time with God in order to overcome worldly temptations and obstacles and seek and listen for the calling of the Lord.<\/p>\n
Additionally, the program offered some special segments such as “Our Year of 2022,” which was produced in a vlog style, and “Non-contact Dates,” in which the new freshmen were connected with Theology Department Student Body executives over the phone to be given information on the Theology Department and vicarious experiences of campus life.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
