Sahmyook University has been selected as the host university for the \u20182021 Blue Ladder Project\u2019 organized by the Ministry of Education for the third consecutive year. The Blue Ladder is a project that provides a \u201cladder of opportunity\u201d to college students from socially and economically disadvantaged classes. The main goal is to ensure them equal educational opportunities by providing overseas university training opportunities and to support their career exploration and development.<\/p>\n
Sahmyook University will select 60 undergraduate students and operate an online overseas training program together with Regent\u2019s University in the UK and the University of Guam in the US.<\/p>\n
From October, the participants of the program will receive pre-training including \u25b3Career Awareness Test, \u25b3Common Competency Reinforcement Workshop, \u25b3Job Mentoring, \u25b3Mock TOEIC, \u25b3Language Education (Phone English), \u25b3Global Etiquette, etc. Then, from January, 2022, they will take a 5-week course which includes \u25b3English training, \u25b3Team-specific corporate analysis project, and \u25b3Tours on global corporations in Korea. Upon completion of the course, students will be provided with priority selection for internship opportunities in the U.S.<\/p>\n
Ryu Su-hyeon, head of SU Business Center, said, \u201cI hope this program will become a \u2018blue ladder\u2019 of education that helps students strengthen their global capabilities and leap to a higher level.\u201d She added, \u201cDespite all the difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we will spare no effort to provide stable and high-quality training.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
