A retired pastor, who asked to remain anonymous, donated 20 million won in scholarship funds to Sahmyook University.<\/p>\n

Pastor A, who attend the university in the 1970s, recalled that when he was a student studying theology he was in a difficult financial condition, but he received many scholarships from many donors. \u201cThough it took some time, I was determined to return the scholarship to my juniors someday. I am happy to be able to pay back the debt of grace\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Pastor A still has not forgotten the names of those who have provided him with scholarships. He believes that the only way students can return the grace was to study diligently and train to be valuable pastors in the ministry field.<\/p>\n

After graduation, he considered ministry as his profession and devoted his life to evangelical work.<\/p>\n

Sahmyook University recommended that this influential pastor’s name be disclosed to spread the donation culture and also the rippled effect of the donation. However, he urged and requested that his identity and name were not revealed.<\/p>\n
