The Sahmyook University World Mission Center has appointed 25 students from China, India, and Mongolia as Foreigner Student Missionaries (FSM). FSM is a program that appoints foreign students, who are studying at Sahmyook University, to devote themselves to the campus mission. FSMs spread the Gospel to non-believing students from their respective countries, and are appointed as a SU Hearald delegate to their own countries upon their graduation and head back home.

Kang Ha-sik, Director of the SU World Mission Center, said, “Our center will continue to instill a sense of mission into the hearts of foreign students and raise them as missionaries.” He added, “We will spare no effort in supporting them to grow to be workers of God to spread the Gospel on this campus and around the world.”

Sahmyook Love Shop, a volunteering group which is primarily composed of the SU professors’ wives, handed out scholarships ranging from 500,000 – 1,000,000 won, to each of the 25 FSMs in support of their mission work.
