Sahmyook University and the Sahmyook University Church delivered 20 million won to ADRA Korea, an international organization for relief and development. These funds are to help war refugees in Ukraine.

Since March 7, the university and the church have been holding special prayer meetings to raise funds and restore peace for the victims of the war in Ukraine. These meetings were attended by the SU faculty and staff as well as the members of the SU Church who raised the 20 million won.

ADRA Korea is working closely with the ADRA international network to carry out emergency relief efforts. Relief funds raised from all around the globe are distributed to corresponding ADRA offices in the war region, including Ukraine, Hungary, Slovakia, Poland, and Romania, for efficient refugee assistance.

“We pray that the people of Ukraine who are suffering from the war will regain their peaceful daily lives as soon as possible,” said SU President Kim Il-mok. He added, “I hope that the money that we have gathered and sent will be helpful and give them hope.”
