The Missions Dispatch Ceremony for student/intern pastors to be sent out to local churches was held on April 28 at 3 P.M. in the main hall of the Sahmyook University Church.

The service was attended by SU President Kim Il-mok, faculty of the Theology Department, Youth Ministers from the Korean Union Conference along with the five local conferences, pastors and members from the churches who would receive the student/intern pastors.

The student and intern pastor ministry is part of the seminary education to offer field training experience at local churches for future pastors. This year, the program appointed a total of 35 students: 4 graduate and 31 undergraduates, to begin their ministry and service at local churches.

Im Hyeon-seong, a junior at the Department of Theology, affirmed his dedication and resolution upon his appointment, saying, “I want to obey His calling and faithfully carry out the work entrusted to me.” He added, “Wherever sent, I will go!”
