Introduction of Department

We are cultivating professional counselors to give advice to people in need of psychological help under stressful and competitive society. To counsel various concerns and help psychological problems, and recover true meaning of life and happiness, counselors should acquire in-depth psychological knowledge and learn professional methods of counseling and psychotherapy. Therefore, we teach and educate students through many major studies; an introduction of psychology and counseling, development psychology, social psychology, physiological psychology, abnormal psychology, various evaluations, health psychology, clinical psychology, psychosexual psychology and counseling, including child and adolescent counseling, family counseling, group counseling, career counseling, and addiction.

Educational Objectives and Purpose

Our goal is to cultivate outstanding students who can offer professional counseling for peace and happiness by understanding physical, psychological, social, and spiritual aspects scientifically. To obtain this goal, cultivate outstanding workers who can devote themselves to society with altruistic love.

Vision and Career

After graduation, students can work as school counselors, clinical counselors, and teenager counselors. As counselors, they can help family, teenagers, the elderly, school, hospices, and give advice to the ministers and children.
