Introduction
Founded on the understanding of capitalism, business Administration, the study of business-related activities, is one of the most consequential fields in the social sciences. Business administration aims to contribute to the improvement of the quality of life of the nation and humanity through the growth and development of companies. Therefore, the aim of the department is to produce future-oriented professional managers with initiative, creativity, unwavering morality, logical thinking skills, who can cope with the changes in the business environment arising from globalization and informatization.
Established in 1978, the department produced its first batch of graduates in 1982. Through organizational and structural changes the department has gone through different names (Techno-Administration, Digital Administration, Business Administration) to the current Department of Business Administration. Since its inception, the department has endeavored to produce business professionals capable of meeting the high demands of business and the demands of a rapidly changing world. The program also aims to cultivate creative and ethical professional managers who have management knowledge and practical skills with international insight. The department will continue to provide the highest quality education to its students.
Graduates of the program work on crucial tasks at various companies, financial institutions, schools, government agencies, some even start their own business, while some work managerial positions at SU affiliate organizations. In an effort to provide continued career support following graduation, the department provides exam-prep classes (accountant, tax accountant, and certified labor attorney). The department also offers extra-curricular career support through clubs and study groups that prepare students for future careers.

Graduation Requirements
- Core required courses” are compulsory courses selected by the Korea Management Education Certification Institute and are prerequisite for all major courses. It is strongly recommended that all students who wish to major in business administration complete the courses.
(Core Required Courses: Organizational Behavior Theory, Accounting Principle I, Production Management, Management Information Theory, Marketing Principles, Financial Management) - Freshmen in the Department of Business Administration must complete a total of 75 credits, including 18 credits of core required courses.
- Third year transfer students to the Department of Business Administration must complete a total of 51 credits, including 18 credits in the core required courses. Second year transfer students must complete a total of 63 credits, including 18 credits in the core required courses.
- Students double majoring in business administration must complete a total of 42 credits, including 18 credits in the core required courses.
- Students minoring in business administration must complete a total of 21 credits from the core courses.
- Business administration majors who are double majoring must complete a total of 42 credits including 18 credits in core required courses.
